Inaugural KGA Member Play Day Conducted

The Kentucky Golf Association conducted its inaugural Members Program Play Day at Big Spring Country Club on Friday, October 2.  The event featured a Net Stableford format and was open to members of the Kentucky Golf Association and Kentucky Senior Golf Association.  Rainy conditions early gave way to sun and wind for the afternoon as the players enjoyed one of Kentucky's finest golf courses, which other than Valhalla, is the only Kentucky facility to host a major championship (1952 PGA Championship).
