The program is administered by the Kentucky Golf Foundation, with assistance from the Kentucky Golf Association in ensuring compliance with the USGA's Rules of Amateur Status. The 2009 recipients are, in alphabetical order: Preston French from Lexington, Lydia Gumm from Radcliff, John Tanner Keeton from Campbellsville, Gina Nuzzo from Louisville, Katie Scarlet-Skinner from Burlington, and Justin Thomas from Louisville.
