At 10:00 a.m. on February 1st, the Kentucky Senior Golf Association will begin taking online registration for all seven tournaments on the competition calendar. Entry forms will be posted for viewing and printing on the KSGA's website at www.kygolf.org.
Former KGA-PGA, Inc. Executive Director Mike Donahoe Passes Away
It is with great sadness that Kentucky's family of golf organizations report the recent passing of former Executive Director Mike Donahoe. He had been in hospice care since a traumatic head injury four years ago, and passed away quietly in his sleep on January 9. He was sixty years old.
Donahoe, who had been a Life Member of The PGA of America, served as the KGA-PGA, Inc.'s Executive Director from 1991-2001. Among the many accomplishments during his service was the creation of the Pepsi Junior Golf Tour

2009 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship Trophy to be Displayed at Golf House Kentucky
Hebron's Martha Leach, the 2009 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Champion, recently gave the Kentucky Golf Foundation the opportunity to display the Mildred G. Prunaret Cup, which is presented annually to the winner of the U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship, at Golf House Kentucky. The trophy was brought to Golf House Kentucky on December 15 by Martha and her husband, KPGA Member John Leach, and will be displayed in a special display case which is dedicated to Kentucky's USGA Champions and to USGA Championships conducted in Kentucky.
Pepsi Tour Veterans Fare Well at LPGA Tour Qualifying
Kentucky's family of golf organizations congratulates Leah Wigger of Louisville and Mallory Blackwelder of Lexington, both of whom earned LPGA Tour cards at the 2009 LPGA qualifying tournament, which wrapped up on December 7.
